Ostick and Williams is a client orientated practice committed to achieving the highest quality of architectural design. The practice was established in Ireland in 1951 and has continued to expand and develop as a multi-discipline consultancy to include architecture, town planning, urban design and project management. In 2006 we opened a branch office in Bucharest and we are working in Romania on an exciting range of retail, residential and industrial projects.

Our experience covers a wide range of building types such as retail, offices, industrial, life sciences, residential, education, leisure and conservation. Commissions also include major feasibility exercises involving regeneration and rehabilitation projects, site identification, site assessment, and commercial feasibility studies.

Through a combination of staff training, investment in new technology and development of quality management systems, the practice continually strives to improve the quality and value of its service to its client base.

We have developed a large and talented resource base with a wide range of design and technical skills.   From this resource base specialist teams are formed to undertake each individual project. The practice operates a low pyramid structure ensuring that the key senior staff and directors participate directly in every commission and that a working director is always a point of responsible contact to every client.

We adapted this service to suit the demands of the developers entering on the Romanian real estate market. We provide advice with regard to the Romanian permitting system and building legislation in addition to technical support for major planning applications. We also manage and co-ordinate other involved consultants/contractors and prepare the necessary documentation for meetings with authorities. Our senior staff has experience in coordinating planning applications and we have performed this type of service all throughout Romania.
